The Sanitation Team Member plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of our production facility during overnight hours. This position is responsible for executing structured sanitation processes that ensure all equipment, surfaces, and work areas meet stringent food safety and regulatory standards before the start of daily production. Working in a fast-paced and temperature-controlled environment, the ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding the highest standards of hygiene and compliance. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing sanitation, safety, and maintenance concerns. By ensuring a clean and sanitized environment, this role directly supports product quality, regulatory compliance, and the overall success of our operations. Shift: Monday- Friday 11:00 pm - 7:00 am What You'll Do: Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and production areas according to established procedures and food safety standards Safely use and handle cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment Perform sanitation tasks in refrigerated environments (-10 to -20°C) Accurately complete sanitation logs and required documentation Identify and report equipment issues, safety hazards, or maintenance needs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times Follow all health & safety protocols, including proper use of PPE Collaborate with team members to meet nightly sanitation targets Carry out additional duties as assigned What You Bring: Previous sanitation, janitorial, or food manufacturing experience (asset) Ability to work overnight shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Comfortable with physically demanding work, including lifting 30–50 lbs Ability to work in cold environments Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to follow instructions and work independently Why People (and their pets) Love Working Here!
