Company Description This historic steakhouse and Bar in Banff is known for serving the best quality meats in the Bow Valley. Guests enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., then party the night away until 2am. The restaurant focuses on consistent quality, hospitality, and a memorable dining experience for visitors and locals. The bar has all types of events from country bands, to drum and bass DJs, to comedy shows. Role Description The Social Media Marketing Manager is a full-time, Hybrid role based in Banff, AB. This role is responsible for managing the restaurant’s social media presence across platforms, including planning and posting content, monitoring engagement, and responding to messages and comments. Day-to-day tasks include developing content calendars, capturing and curating photos and videos of menu items, our nightlife, and coordinating promotions and campaigns with the management team. The Social Media Marketing Manager will track performance metrics, optimize content and posting strategies, and ensure branding is consistent and aligned with the restaurant’s values. Collaboration with the operations and front-of-house teams is essential to highlight special events, seasonal menus, and guest experiences. Qualifications Strong Social Media Marketing skills, including platform management and audience engagement. Experience with Content Strategy and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to plan and refine social content. Knowledge of Digital Marketing principles, including basic analytics and campaign performance tracking. Excellent Communication skills for clear messaging, community management, and collaboration with onsite teams. Ability to create and edit visual content (photos, short videos, reels) suitable for social platforms. Prior experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant marketing is an asset. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines. Availability to work onsite in Banff, AB, including some weekends and evenings for content capture and events.
