Instructor II – Field Hockey Coach
Natick Recreation and Parks is seeking energetic, responsible, and fun-loving applicants with volleyball experience who enjoy working with middle school students to join the Natick Rec team. These individuals will be tasked with running a middle school volleyball clinic, focused on teaching fundamentals and growing students’ love for the sport.
Essential Functions
The essential functions or duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.
Provide administrative and management support to the admin./leadership team Provide leadership, energy and organization for participants and staff Oversee a middle school field hockey team, including practices and games Design and implement practices plans Contribute to and participate in activities, supervision, and programming. Enforce all rules and regulations Maintain attendance logs, communicate with leadership and participants’ families Set up and breakdown program Maintain facility, inventory all supplies and equipment Other Duties as assigned
Recommended Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field with increasing responsibility, including supervising staff.
Special Requirements
Current CPR/FA Certification approved by Massachusetts State Health Department or ability to obtain upon hire
Compensation
This position is Grade 2 of the Town’s Part Time Pay Plan with an hourly range of $22.00 to $23.35 based upon qualifications and experience.
