About the role
We are looking for a strong Restaurant Manager to lead a fast-paced casual hospitality concept located in Blue Mountain / Collingwood.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in energetic environments, and is looking for long-term growth within hospitality. We are seeking a leader who understands hospitality first ? someone who can motivate a team, maintain standards, lead by example, and keep service flowing during busy periods.
The right candidate must have previous restaurant or hospitality management experience, particularly in fast-paced casual or fast casual environments. Strong people management skills are extremely important for this role, along with the ability to take direction, adapt quickly, and maintain a positive and professional atmosphere for both guests and staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading daily restaurant operations
- Managing and supporting staff on shift
- Maintaining hospitality and service standards
- Assisting with scheduling, hiring, and team development
- Ensuring smooth service during high-volume periods
- Helping create a strong team culture and positive work environment
- Problem solving quickly and effectively during service
Requirements:
- Previous restaurant management experience
- Experience in casual or fast casual hospitality environments
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Hospitality-focused mindset
- Ability to lead by example and remain hands-on during service
- Reliable transportation to Blue Mountain or ability to walk to the village
- Looking for stable, long-term employment within hospitality
