Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and performance-driven Front of House Operations Manager to join our dynamic Toronto team. Reporting directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, this role will oversee the daily operations of the venue, ensuring our high standards in service, guest experience, and operational excellence are consistently achieved. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining the luxury standards of the brand while mentoring a high-performing team and fostering a culture of innovation and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily operations across front-of-house while working cohesively with our back-of-house team in communication. Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences aligned with Chotto Matte's brand standards Drive service excellence through hands-on leadership, training, and development of staff Monitor and improve operational workflows to optimize efficiency and profitability Collaborate closely with culinary, bar, and events teams to deliver seamless service across all touchpoints Maintain rigorous health & safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards Support budget management, cost controls, and inventory oversight Report regularly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager on performance metrics, challenges, and improvements Act as a brand ambassador, fostering strong community and guest relationships
Ideal Candidate Candidate must have experience in FULL-SERVICE Dining 2+ years of progressive hospitality and operations management restaurant experience in a high-volume setting. Preferably: Upscale, High-end, and lifestyle brand experience. Deep understanding of premium guest service and luxury hospitality standards Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor diverse teams Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L management Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Passionate about food, beverage, and immersive guest experiences
