Job Summary
The Queen’s Cue, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is seeking an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our opening team. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, you will lead from the floor across The Boar’s Head, The Bower, The Folio, Banquets and In-Room Dining. You will support daily operations, coach the team through service, uphold exceptional standards, and help create polished, memorable experiences for every guest. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced boutique hotel environment, leads by example, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, consistent hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the delivery of exceptional guest service across The Boar's Head, The Bower, The Folio, Banquets, and In-Room Dining, creating a welcoming and memorable experience. Lead the team from the floor by actively working alongside the teams, modeling elite service standards and directing daily operations. Assist in taking food and beverage orders, when necessary, process them through the POS system, and assist the F&B Manager in auditing and setting up these operational systems. Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, while strictly overseeing bar operations and pour controls. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food and beverage menus, conduct staff training and menu-knowledge drills, and make recommendations to guests. Monitor guest satisfaction, respond promptly to requests, and swiftly resolve conflicts or guest complaints with a professional touch. Manage inventory control, undertake regular stock rotation, track variance, and report low inventory levels to F&B Manager. Ensure full compliance with Smart Serve, health and safety, sanitation, and liquor licensing regulations across all outlets. Assist with scheduling based on forecast and business patterns and optimize labor real time. Work collaboratively with team members, foster a positive work environment, and maintain a cool demeanor under intense operational pressure. Support hotel events, private functions, and BEO execution, ensuring seamless setup, delivery, and breakdown. Perform other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager to support overall hotel operations.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Bring
A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including restaurant, lounge, and banquet service. Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire team members to achieve operational excellence. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. A guest-first mindset with the confidence to resolve concerns professionally and efficiently. Knowledge of food safety regulations and a valid Smart Serve Certification (or willingness to obtain one). Proficiency with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. A professional appearance and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. The ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg) when required. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events, as business needs require.
