About the role

Now, If You Were To Come On Board As An Assistant Lounge Manager, We’d Ask You To Do The Following For Us

Manage the daily operations of the Air Canada lounges. Coordinate staff schedules within the unit to ensure adequate coverage to meet expectations. Manage costs in order to stay within the unit’s budget. Respond to requests, resolve complaints, and address customer concerns. Monitor the unit’s compliance with quality assurance and health and safety policies, and implement any necessary corrective measures. Manage, coach, and develop unit staff to achieve unit and team objectives.

Relevant experience of 3 years in the food service or hospitality industry. Experience in management, supervision, coaching, and staff development. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven organizational, time management, and leadership skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both French and English. Proficiency in English is required to communicate daily with head office, partners, assigned suppliers at a national level, as well as sponsors.
