About the role
Job Summary
The Busse unloader works in the Production department. The selected individual works in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, clean-up and other food processing activities. This person has direct impact on the efficiency of our operation and contributes daily to quality of our products.
Job Responsibilities
Contributes to a healthy work environment, while maintaining high food safety and health and safety standards. Unload baskets in sequence. Check the SAP Label in the basket that needs to be offloaded Scan the basket Tag (SAP Label) to the process Order assigned Inform labelling operator of change of product & ensure all changes to cartoon, codes & labels have been made before unloading basket. Assist in keeping accumulation conveyor clear of any rejects. Areas must be kept free of obstructions, hazards and the accumulation of refuse in accordance with the Maple Leaf Consumer Foods Housekeeping Policy. Records times of finished pallets on Labeling Sheet. Contributes to the team and the whole facility in a positive way. Other responsibilities as required. Knowledge of SAP is required
What in it for you:
Hourly Rate: From $20.05 to $22.92/ Hr.
Night shift premium available.

Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with repetitive tasks Able to stand and walk throughout the shift Able to perform repetitive lifting Can work well in a team environment and support fellow team members Good communication skills, able to speak and read English Punctual, reliable and responsible
Food Safety/Quality
Responsible for correct allergen and material labeling Direct and coordinate personnel to ensure material is received and stored in the proper identified area as well as ensure FIFO/SOP are being followed
Health And Safety
Demonstrated ability to wear proper PPE and comply with safety requirements Pulling, pushing, twisting, bending, heavy lifting and standing Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Communication, Cooperation & Continuous Improvement Skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal and oral) and the ability to effectively communicate across various departments in English Positive interaction and information sharing with Associates and Salaried Team Ability to work independently without regular supervision Actively finding new and improved ways of completing tasks Willing to try new things and assume additional responsibilities Ability to establish priorities in their work area Must possess the ability to multitask, ensuring accuracy and completion for each task Must possess strong computer and/or data entry skills; experience with SAP systems is required Excellent time management, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to use a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Must be a team player
