Job Description Under the direction of the General Manager, we are looking for a friendly, professional, and safety-conscious Door Attendant at Lower Deck, who will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming environment while maintaining safety standards. What you will be doing as a Door Attendant: Monitoring and controlling access to the establishment; Checking ids and ensuring that all patrons meet age requirements; Maintaining order and enforcing rules and regulations; Handling difficult situations with professionalism and tact; Escorting unruly guests out of the establishment; Collaborating with other staff members to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all; Helping service staff close building including but not limited to – ensuring all guests have departed, tidying up, taking out garbage and recycling; Such other similar or related duties as may be required from time to time. The person we are looking for has: Similar experience in an environment is considered an asset; Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment; Organizational skills; Strong oral communication skills; Ability to work evenings, weekends, and late nights.
