Responsibilities include setting up and stocking stations, handling food prep, operating kitchen equipment safely, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift. The role also involves monitoring food safety and sanitation standards, managing ticket times during busy periods, and working closely with other kitchen and front-of-house team members. The Line Cook may assist with inventory rotation, receiving deliveries, and supporting menu changes or specials as needed. Qualifications Experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant line cooking, with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and basic health regulations; commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tickets at once, and maintain attention to detail under pressure. Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills, with a reliable and professional work approach. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights. Prior experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role is preferred; culinary training or certification is an asset but not required.
