FOOD PRODUCTION TEAM LEADER

Location and hours
Alberta Food Factory: 1480 28th Street NE, Calgary, AB T2A 6A2 | Monday to Friday: 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
Responsibilities
The role of the Food Production Team Leader is to assist the Production Supervisor and Production Manager to ensure the smooth operations of the factory.
Maintain food supplies and calculate ingredients needed from the fridge and conduct daily production record
Assign duties to production teammates
Ensure the production areas are cleaned and ready for use at all time
Check food quality according to the Bento’s standards
Take corrective record according to product’s quality
Coach teammates on all operating standards including food safety and quality control
Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma
You thrive in a highly repetitive task environment
Able to work in a refrigerated, cold climate (10°C working climate, 4°C for walk in refrigerator and -18°C for walk in freezer)
Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lb) where required and stand for extended periods
Flexible to work various shifts and weekends
Ability to lead and direct a team
Basic computer knowledge
Basic English communication skills
Basic knowledge in mathematics
