Job Description How You’ll Make an Impact: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food & facility operations, client services, workplace experience, and site performance while ensuring operational excellence, financial accountability, and a strong culture of safety. Responsible for successfully coordinating and directing retail food service and facilities operation in the unit Manage financials having good knowledge on labor cost, food, inventory, equipment and materials. Needs to have budgeting and forecasting experience Direct daily operations including working with multiple stake holders across the organization- purchasing/ordering, inventory, scheduling Supervise, mentor, and monitor supervisors and evaluate performance to ensure a high level of productivity and the best use of team member capabilities Ensure that the annual objectives are achieved Maintain operating standards and implement quality improvements Promote and assist in producing best experience- strong hospitality skills Constant analysis of operations-identifying efficiencies and areas of opportunity Ensure compliance of all Company and Client standards and Provincial/Federal Legislation Ensure compliance to all Food Safety and Physical Safety Policies and Procedures Qualifications What You’ll Need to Succeed Minimum 5 years’ experience in a busy management role, multiple offerings an asset. Ability not only to lead the team to deliver on an innovative and high food and facilities service program, but also to lead and inspire your team to look for ways to improve on what we already do to ensure we are exceeding the students’ expectations.
