Leasing Agent – Southwestern Ontario

Larlyn Property Management is seeking an experienced and motivated Leasing Agent to support rental properties in Windsor As one of the first points of contact for prospective residents, the Leasing Agent plays an important role in creating a positive impression of Larlyn Property Management. This position supports prospective residents throughout the leasing process, from the initial inquiry and property viewing through to lease signing and move-in.

Job Type: Part-time, commission-based This position is compensated through commission on successfully completed leases.

Main Responsibilities Leasing and Lease Administration Respond to rental inquiries by telephone and email within the same business day. Provide clear and accurate information regarding available rental units. Schedule property viewings and appointments with prospective residents. Build positive relationships with prospective residents and conduct suite viewings as directed by the Property Manager. Provide rental applications and explain the application process. Follow up with prospective residents regarding outstanding information or documentation. Notify applicants of the status of their application within two business days after the completed application has been reviewed. Collect required deposits, proof of tenant insurance, and utility confirmation, where applicable. Schedule lease-signing appointments and ensure tenancy agreements are signed by all required parties. Maintain accurate records of inquiries, appointments, applications, and leasing activity.

Qualifications Previous experience as a Leasing Agent is required. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Knowledge of residential rental applications and leasing processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities. Consistent and professional follow-up practices. Ability to assess and qualify prospective applicants during the viewing and application process. Ability to work independently and manage appointments across multiple locations.

Special Requirements A valid driver’s licence is required. Must have access to a reliable, insured, and operational vehicle.
