About the role
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist with supervision of Housekeeping team
- Insure hotel standards and policies are followed
- Assist in training, scheduling, and inventory
- Assign rooms,Stock and sort supplies
- Vacuum, clean, dust and polish guest rooms
- Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries
- Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
- Laundry attendant sort/wash/fold/restock
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Physical mobility and stamina required/Bending/Lifting
- Ability to follow instruction
- Detail-oriented, Multi task
- Professional attitude is required
- Ability to work independently and team member
- Excellent time management skills/Good organizational skills
- Bond able is generally required
- Previous housekeeping experience is an asset
- Good communication skills are an asset
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is an asset
