Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere in all Lake Louise Ski Resort properties including the resort and staff accommodation. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducting security patrols of Lake Louise Ski Resort properties
  • Enforce “conditions of residence” as outlined in rental contracts
  • Liaison with local law enforcement and emergency service agencies
  • Respond to complaints and conduct investigations
  • Provide assistance and or information to employees and the general public
  • Complete the required nightly security incident reports
  • All other related duties as required by the Security Supervisor or Housing Management

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Canadian or international drivers license with clean abstract required
  • Must be able to provide 3 years claim free insurance history up to now
  • Ability to enforce rules, without being influenced by friends/work colleagues.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and responsible to work with minimal or no supervision
  • Must be physically capable of lifting/carrying 50 lbs.
  • Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • First Aid, CPR, Self Defense and Mediation skills preferred
  • Prior security/law enforcement experience is considered an asset 

Work Schedule:

Full time - Night Shift

Dress Code:

Uniform shirt provided at cost, black pants/slacks in accordance with appearance standards
