About the role

Students will use knowledge of healthy human anatomy and biomechanics of the upper and lower extremities to understand the injury mechanisms and injury management.Students will also study how to perform basic assessments of the upper and lower extremities to determine which form of management is best suited for that condition.Lec - W 830-920am for both FR01B & FR02B (offered same time)Lab - F @ 1:30-4:20.Covers principles and procedures for the recognition and managment of injuries and disorders in physical activity, athletics and sports programs.Prerequisite or co-requisite: BIOL 1711.Master's degree in Kinesiology or a combination of education and experience.Priority will be given to those holding a Right-of-First-Refusal on this course.This position is subject to final budgetary approval and subject to minimum enrolment.Applications must be submitted by email, as specified.Applicant's resume to accompany the email application.The Contract Academic Instructor Collective Agreement can be found here.
