About the role
Our employer partner, a well-know baked goods producer in North America, is currently looking to add an experienced Baker Mixer to their team!
Job Overview:
Under the general supervision of the Line Leader or Production Supervisor, the Baker Mixer's primary responsibility is to mix raw materials in order to create finished products according to the batch recipes. They will ensure that equipment is operated within process specifications and that good quality products are produced at all times.
Please note that this is a full-time position and will require you to work 37.5 hours per week
Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:

Obtains and reviews all documentation for making batches
-
Stages and prepares ingredients for blends and mixes as needed for production according to batch sheets and formulas
-
Ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment including cleaning and inspection
-
Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety
-
Regularly monitor that the product confirms to quality and safety specifications
-
Strictly follows recipes to make product batches and feed production lines
-
Accurately enters mix records onto computer in a timely manner
-
Participate in changeovers and clean-up or sanitation of equipment
Qualifications:

Completion of high school education or equivalent
-
1-3 years of manufacturing experience; food manufacturing experience is an asset
Working Conditions:
-
Fast paced environment in an automated, high-speed manufacturing facility
-
Temperature controlled and clean working environment
-
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
