Responsibilities
Tasks
Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations Recruit and hire staff Supervise staff Conduct performance reviews Conduct training sessions Perform front desk duties Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses Prepare marketing plans Implement marketing activities Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities Enforce policies and procedures Address customers' complaints or concerns Assist clients/guests with special needs Develop and implement business plans Establish work schedules Manage events Organize and maintain inventory Participate in marketing plans and implementation Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Cost products and services Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms Provide customer service Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
