The Opportunity

At Stonesedge Kitchen, we offer a refined yet approachable dining experience in the heart of Whistler Village. Known for our warm atmosphere, locally inspired menus, and attention to detail, we’re looking for a Head Chef who can bring leadership, consistency, and creativity to the kitchen.
This is an opportunity to shape a menu that highlights fresh, seasonal ingredients while mentoring a strong culinary team and delivering a dining experience that feels both elevated and welcoming.
Wage and Perks of the Job
- $75,000 – $82,000 annual salary based on experience

What You Bring to the Table
- Proven experience in a quality-driven kitchen (leadership experience preferred)
- A passion for seasonal, locally inspired cuisine
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A focus on consistency, detail, and guest experience
- Calm, solutions-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with inventory, food costing, and kitchen systems
- Red Seal certification (or equivalent) is an asset, but not required
- A genuine interest in mentoring and developing your team
Your Days Will Look Like
- Oversee daily kitchen operations across lunch, dinner, and special events
- Lead, coach, and inspire a collaborative culinary team
- Develop and evolve menus that reflect seasonality and guest preferences
- Ensure excellence in presentation, quality, and consistency
- Maintain high standards in food safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Manage food and labour costs with a balanced, thoughtful approach
- Work closely with FOH and leadership teams to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Stay connected to the floor—this is a hands-on leadership role
