Job Overview: Sushi 4 You is looking for a reliable and hardworking Line Cook to join our team. This role focuses on preparing sushi rolls and supporting kitchen operations, including dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness. The ideal candidate has experience in a Japanese restaurant environment and can work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sushi rolls and basic Japanese dishes according to restaurant standards
• Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all menu items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas
• Perform dishwashing duties, including cleaning utensils, equipment, and workstations
• Assist with food preparation, ingredient stocking, and inventory as needed
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Japanese restaurant or sushi preparation preferred
• Basic knowledge of sushi ingredients and techniques is an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Team-oriented with good communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
