CATERING PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Purpose of the Job
We are seeking an experienced Catering Production Supervisor to manage and supervise daily large-scale food production in a certified Kosher commercial kitchen, ensuring output consistency, food safety compliance, bakery operations, and team performance across a production volume of approximately 65,000 meals per month.
Role and Responsibilities
Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in collaboration with the Catering Manager Coordinate production flow across preparation, cooking, portioning, and distribution Implement and maintain HACCP and food safety compliance across all production stages Maintain production records, temperature logs, wastage reports, and end-of-shift reporting Plan and supervise bakery production including breads, rolls, pastries, and cakes Supervise and direct 30 production staff daily Conduct quality checks covering taste, temperature, presentation, and portioning Manage food wastage through effective planning, FIFO stock rotation, and yield management
Qualifications And Education Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in high-volume commercial food production Minimum 3 years’ experience supervising a team of 10 or more kitchen staff Practical HACCP implementation experience Demonstrated hands-on bakery production experience Exposure to 50,000+ meals per month preferred Airline catering or high-volume institutional catering experience advantageous
Qualifications
Food Handlers Certificate or equivalent (mandatory)
