Hourly Rate: $19.57 - $22.18 What you’ll be doing Assist in training new temporary employees in learning workflows and production expectations. Maintain clear communication & teamwork with Processing, Packaging, and Maintenance teams. Follow company policies, safety requirements, and behavioral standards. Maintain accountability for critical baking control point parameters. Perform final quality checks prior to packaging. Ensure accurate documentation, scanning, and reporting. Support achievement of OEE targets (uptime, waste, and efficiency). Load and unload ovens efficiently and safely. Adjust oven time and temperature settings as required. Set oven parameters according to work orders. Bake blossoms, cakes, and pies to required specifications. Operate crumb sifter and perform tray baking tasks. Escalate issues promptly and support corrective actions. Perform additional duties as assigned. What we’re looking for. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. 2–3 years of food manufacturing experience preferred. Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and OHSA requirements. Familiarity with GFSI systems (BRC preferred). Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to safely operate industrial oven and baking equipment. Strong problem-solving ability. Basic math skills for production calculations. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Computer literacy for scanning and documentation. Bonus Points if You Have Frozen bakery or dessert manufacturing experience. Lean / Continuous Improvement training. Experience with industrial ovens and baking processes.
