Role Description The Room Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based in Welland, ON. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned rooms and common areas to ensure they are sanitary, organized, and presentable. Daily tasks include making beds, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, replenishing linens and amenities, and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns. The Room Attendant also handles laundry-related duties such as sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and towels. This role interacts with other team members and, at times, visitors or customers, requiring clear communication and courteous service while following company housekeeping standards and safety procedures. Qualifications Housekeeping and clean rooms skills, including experience maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms or similar environments Laundry skills, including handling, cleaning, and organizing linens, towels, and related items Customer service and communication skills to respond professionally to requests and work effectively with team members and supervisors Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and using cleaning equipment safely Previous experience in housekeeping, room attendant, or janitorial roles is an asset Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time on-site in Welland, ON, including weekends or varied shifts as needed
