About the role
Position Summary:
Under the general direction of F&B supervisor/Ops Manager, this position will be responsible for serving guests on the gaming floor including taking orders, receiving payments, clearing all beverage cups, stocking and cleaning self-serve stations as well as maintaining a safe and clean working environment. This role must contribute to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees and must demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Above all else, this position must lead by example to create Great Experiences and Memories for all guests and colleagues.
Key Accountabilities:
- Serve guests in a friendly, professional, timely and enthusiastic manner
- Ensure rounds are timely, including picking up cups, cleaning and stocking cups at the self-serve stations as well as guest service. May use beverage cart or Tray service
- Properly ensure all payment is being received and recorded in the POS system
- Set-up and maintenance of beverage carts
- Deep cleaning of self-serve and beverage carts
- Ensure the adherence to Smart Serve, Alcohol and Gaming Commission regulations and Flamboro Downs policies and procedures and GCE Liquor Service Policy
- Report any loss or theft of company property to management
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Inspect work area daily and report any hazards and/or defective equipment to management
- Comply with all Health and Safety requirements including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Report all injuries, accidents and unusual conditions to management immediately
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
