Behind every great guest experience is a clean and well-cared for space. As an integral part of our team, the Facilities Cleaner plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of Glen Arbour Golf Club and the Deerfield Pub.
This role is a permanent position, with full-time hours during the golf season (May–October) and part-time hours in the off-season (November–April).
How you’ll spend your day: Perform routine cleaning throughout the clubhouse and pub, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping, and sweeping Clean and sanitize all washrooms, including floors, mirrors, sinks, and toilets Empty garbage and recycling, replace liners, and transport waste to designated disposal areas Restock washroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels Maintain the overall appearance of all spaces through spot cleaning of walls, surfaces, and high-touch areas Clean windows and glass surfaces as required Complete scheduled floor and carpet care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning Support light laundry duties (washing, drying, folding, and returning items) as needed Help maintain exterior clubhouse areas by removing debris and ensuring a clean, tidy environment
What will help you thrive: Previous cleaning or janitorial experience Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays Comfortable using ladders occasionally and working in a variety of environments Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
