Position Summary Under the direction of the F&B Supervisor, the Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service and quality food and beverage service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Above all else, must embrace and be aligned with Casino Nova Scotia’s culture and philosophy of providing outstanding entertainment experiences. Job Duties Provides exceptional guest service to dining guests Provides full-table service following established standards of service Cleans, buses and sets tables Performs other cleaning duties as required including Server side duties Works as a member of the team and provides support to co-workers on shift to ensure an overall positive experience for all guests Other assigned duties as required Finds ways to play; you are serious about work, without being serious in your demeanor Chooses to make everyday a great day Stays focused in order to be there Delivers an exceptional entertainment experience to internal and external guests to ensure you make their day Minimum Qualifications Embraces the Casino Nova Scotia culture and philosophy and has a playful, infectious and "all about the guest" attitude! Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent is required Completion of the Responsible Service Certificate “Serve Right - it’s just good business” is required Minimum 1 year of food and beverage serving experience is required Proven strong sales and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, is required Proven GEM skills are required Must be energetic and able to work quickly, under pressure, in a busy, fast-paced environment. Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, is required Proven ability to commit to offering our guests the highest level of guest service Satisfactory attendance is required Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment Must be friendly, detailed oriented, fun and outgoing!
