*Hiring Part-Time Cook* Responsibilities: * Preparing fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu * Cook food (appetizers / tempura / teriyaki etc.) in a timely manner * Able to create the best quality dishes in a fast-paced environment * Ensuring quality checks of dishes are up to restaurant standard * Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation * Maintaining a positive and professional work environment * Monitor food stock, as needed * Other duties may be assigned * Be punctual Qualifications: * MUST hold a valid work permit in Canada * Experience at Japanese restaurant is an asset * Understanding various cooking techniques required for Japanese food * Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks * A passion for Japanese and Asian culinary art and flavours * Able to communicate in English or Korean * Food Safe is an asset * Reliable shift availabilities Salary: * from $18/hr + depending on experience * Tips, overtime pay Flexible shift schedules are available.
