The Lobby Restaurant and Lounge is located at the Pier Hotel at the Pier (North Vancouver) just steps away from Lonsdale Quay and the Seabus Terminal in North Vancouver Historic Shipyard. We are looking for a Bartender. The successful candidate will be outgoing, charismatic, friendly and professional. We offer competitive wages, flexible shifts from breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our Front of the house team delivers exceptional food and drink while creating a unique experience to every one of our guests. Duties: -Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests -Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area -Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests Process transactions accurately using POS systems -Collaborate with FOH and BOH staff to ensure timely service -Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards -Manage inventory of bar supplies and report shortages -Setting up and tearing down the bar to ensure a clean and safe working environment -Assist manager with the bar inventory on a monthly basis. -Ensure compliance with provincial liquor regulations and legislation. -Other jobs as assigned Job Requirements: -Must have ?Serving It Right? certificate -Previous experience both Server and Bartender -Wine, spirit and beer knowledge is a definitive asset and highly recommended -Must be well self-motivated, responsible, organized -Have excellent communication and guest services skills -Maintains a flexible schedule to accommodate operational needs of a hotel environment Physical Demands: -Standing for long periods at a time Lifting ? under 30 lbs Carrying ? over 25 lbs Pulling ? over 25 lbs ? bending, standing, reaching and kneeling. -Schedule: Day shift Evening shift Holidays Weekends Ability to commute/relocate: Pay: From $21.85 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Discounted or free food * On-site gym * On-site parking * Vision care Work Location: In person
