We are seeking an experienced and driven individual for a server position. The successful candidates will be passionate about providing a *fanatical guest experience*, with excellent wine service skills and an equally high degree of attention to detail. Inspired by Ryan?s work ethic, dedication and grit on the ice, the LUX Steakhouse + BAR94 team are focused on providing patrons with mouth-watering dishes and a level of hospitality you?d expect from an establishment that embodies the values of a player like Ryan. *PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* * ·Create a fanatical guest experience through interaction and adherence to the LUX Steakhouse + BAR94 steps of service * Exemplary knowledgeable of all food and beverage * Confidently make food and wine pairing recommendations to our valued guests * Communicate beverage descriptions, specials and information to guests and team members * Be well versed in wine varietals, base spirits and craft beer * Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS system * Monitor food quality and presentation standards * Monitor the cleanliness of section and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter * Follow all food safety standards and systems * Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies * Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely * You are positive and energetic. You are a team player?and love to be part of a high functioning, positive attitude team with the intrinsic motivation to succeed every day. *QUALIFICATIONS* * At least 3 years serving experience in an *upscale environment*. Fast paced, high volume Upscale Casual Dining is required. * ProServe Certification a requirement * WSET or I.S.G certification is a valuable asset * Meticulous attention to detail * Ability to remain calm under pressure during high volume and fast-paced nights * Organizational skills and sales ability to maintain a large section quickly and efficiently * Ability to multi-task which might include aiding all team members * Excellent oral and written communication skills are crucial * High level of product knowledge and high level of personal standards * Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum.
