Bartender

Job Role The Bartender is responsible for serving food and preparing and dispensing liquor, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages to casino guests in accordance with liquor regulations and guidelines as well as internal policies and procedures. This position reports to a Food & Beverage Shift Manager. Qualifications The successful candidate will have a minimum of Grade ten (10) or equivalent and a minimum of one (1) year experience in hospitality including six (6) months bartending and handling and balancing cash or monetary transactions. Compensation Salary range: $17.96 (Probation); $19.41 (Regular) Competencies Using a variety of assessment tools such as in-person interviews, written examinations, role plays and reference checks, candidates will be assessed against the following competencies: PROBLEM SOLVING: Identifies, plans and resolves complicated workplace problems and/or issues; and, ensures that work decisions are made based on SaskGaming’s policies, procedures, guidelines, operational and strategic direction.
