*Overview* We are looking for a *caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Cook* to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will take pride in preparing *nutritious, well-balanced, and child-friendly meals and snacks* while helping create a positive mealtime experience for the children in our care. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and serve nutritious and well-balanced meals and snacks for children. * Follow menus and ensure meals meet the nutritional needs of young children. * Carefully follow individual children's *dietary restrictions, allergies, and food preferences* as outlined by the centre. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen and food preparation area. * Follow all food safety, sanitation, and childcare centre policies and procedures. * Ensure proper food storage, preparation, and handling practices. * Work cooperatively with educators and centre staff to support the health and well-being of the children. * Take pride in providing children with healthy, appealing, and enjoyable food each day. *Qualifications* * Valid *Food Handler/Food Safety Certificate*. * Experience preparing food for children is an asset. * Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices. * Ability to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies with care and attention to detail. * Reliable, organized, and able to work independently. * A positive attitude and genuine enjoyment of working in a childcare environment. *What We Are Looking For* We are seeking someone who truly cares about *providing children with the best possible food and nutrition*.
