*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of our food service area. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and customer service, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. * Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Micros POS, for processing customer transactions. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the serving area and kitchen equipment. * Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations and upselling when appropriate. * Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. * Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation practices. * Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. *Experience* * Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. * Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards. * Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. * Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously. * Knowledge of sanitation practices relevant to the food industry is a plus. * Experience with cashiering duties, including operating POS systems, is beneficial.
