About the Role: As General Manager of our Burlington location, you'll own every aspect of the restaurant: building and leading a strong team, delivering a premium guest experience, and driving the financial success of the location. You'll be the person who sets the tone on the floor and makes Burlington a place both guests and staff love to be. What You'll Do: Lead day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth table service and consistently high standards in guest experience, product quality, and efficiency. Hire, train, coach, and motivate your team; oversee onboarding, scheduling, performance reviews, and ongoing development. Manage inventory, supplies, and ordering, with strong controls over waste and shrink. Own the location's financial performance, including sales, food cost, and labour. Deliver outstanding hospitality: respond to guest feedback, resolve concerns, and understand what drives guest loyalty. Partner with head office and marketing to bring local promotions and campaigns to life. Uphold food safety, health, and workplace safety standards across the restaurant. Support special projects across the broader Demetres organization as opportunities arise. Your Skills and Experiences: 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in hospitality or food service (full-service or table-service restaurant experience strongly preferred). Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; a track record of building and motivating diverse teams. A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to premium guest experiences. Solid financial and operational acumen; comfortable owning inventory, food cost, and labour. Strong communication and problem-solving skills; calm and decisive under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
