Part Time *Cook* Fast food experience is *not sufficient*, *must have full meal cooking experience.* Shifts are 6:30am to 2:00pm and/or 11am to 7pm (Subject to change) \*\*Must be available to start immediately and work all shifts * *\*\*MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE COOKING in a retirement home setting* The *cook* will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. *Duties* include but are not limited to: * Setting up, Sanitizing, cleaning, and organizing work stations * Preparing ingredients for the shift and/or the following shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc, and following food health and safety procedures. * Home Style Cooking is expected * Storing all food properly, monitoring and recording food temps, fridge temps etc. * Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed Job Types: Full Time, Part time Salary: From $19.00- $21.00 per hour Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Holidays * Monday to Sunday * Morning shift * Weekends Experience: * Culinary: 1 year (preferred) * Cooking: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred) Work Location: In person Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: * Thorold, ON L2V 1Y7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Experience: * Cooking: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred) Work Location: In person
