*Job Description: Cake Decorator* *Bittersweet Symphony Cake Shop* is looking for a *Cake Decorator* to join our growing team. We are a high-volume bakery specializing in custom cakes, desserts, and wholesale production, so we are looking for the right candidate who can work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency. This position is ideal for someone who already has basic cake decorating experience and is willing to learn and grow with our team. We do provide training for our systems, recipes, and decorating standards, but basic skills are required. *Key Responsibilities:* Preparing, filling, stacking, crumb coating, and finishing cakes Dry stacking and coating cakes properly and neatly Working with buttercream, ganache, fillings, and different cake layers Decorating cakes according to customer orders and shop standards Following production lists and completing cakes within the required timeline Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the decorating area Working as part of a team during busy production days Helping with high-volume cake production while keeping quality consistent Following food safety and workplace safety procedures *Requirements:* Basic cake decorating experience is required Must know how to dry stack and coat cakes Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume bakery environment Willingness to learn new techniques and improve skills Good attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions Able to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to grow with the business *What We Offer:* Competitive pay based on experience Training and opportunities to learn new skills Benefits available A supportive team environment Opportunity to work on custom cakes, wholesale cakes, and creative projects *Job Type:* Full-time / Part-time *Location:* Bittersweet Symphony Cake Shop, Niagara Falls, ON Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Work Location: In person
