Position: Server Reports to: Food Services Manager Job Status: Casual Location: 15055 Yonge St, Aurora, ON L4G 6T4 Pay: $$17.60 /hr Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Deliver excellent customer service to residents and guests during meal times Serve food and beverages in a friendly, professional manner Set up and clean dining areas before and after service Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition Assist with light food prep or assembly under the direction of the cook Perform routine housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned Store and handle equipment safely and report any unsafe or faulty equipment Respect and uphold residents’ privacy, dignity, and rights at all times Interact positively with residents, coworkers, and visitors Respond appropriately in emergency situations Carry out other duties as assigned by the Food Services Manager or General Manager What You Bring to the Table Previous experience in food service, housekeeping, or laundry (preferred) Food Safe Level 1 Certification WHMIS Certification Clear TB Test and Criminal Record Check Physical ability to carry out duties in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) Friendly attitude, strong teamwork, and customer service focus Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask Understanding and empathy for the needs of seniors Well-groomed with high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness Ability to follow safety protocols and infection control procedures Must be free from communicable diseases and allergens that could affect performance #dmnd Don't hold back!- apply today, even if you do not tick every skills list.
